Service Description
The ability to resolve conflict and make smart choices is essential in the transition from childhood to adulthood. ENDC's Anger Management program deals with teens that have difficulty communicating and getting along with others.
Our program committed to addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of the youth by teaching them the following:
Recognizing anger types & styles
Defense mechanisms
Strategies to manage anger
Recognizing cycles and patterns of emotions and how to stop them
Giving and receiving effective feedback
Active listening
Cognitive Reconstruction
Recognizing the difference between health and unhealthy anger
Creating a support network
It is our mission to aid our youth in becoming more productive citizens, through teaching and coaching them in anger management techniques that will ultimately reduce drug dependency, gang, domestic and family violence. To assure our youth in developing a successful process that can be used when coping with problems of their daily lives.

Fatherhood Initiative:
Eden works with five other Westside organizations call the Circle City fatherhood Coalition which receive funding from The Indiana Youth Institute.
The goal of the coalition is to increase parenting skills and father involvement in the community by initiating new best practice programs, or expanding existing ones, to reach more fathers or new groups of father.
The Coalition plans will address unique barriers and challenges to responsible fatherhood that occur in the community.
The coalition plans include activities and programs delivered directly by coalition partners. Addressing the needs of the community, the plan will involve:
Skill-based parenting education
Disseminating information about good parenting practices
Counseling, mentoring, and anger management
Anger management for father and programs addressing the causes of domestic violence or child abuse
Father involvement in schools
Programs to address challenges encountered by incarcerated fathers, teen dads, fathers of children with disabilities, unmarried or divorced parents, or other disconnected fathers
Programs that encourage child support payments

Men's Ministry---Goal is more men in our church than women. There is power in men and the devil fringes at the sight of strong, sincere, intelligent and born again Men. Strong Men in the Lord builds strong marriages, strong relationships, strong families, strong churches, and strong communities.
